Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School Cabaret Life Drawing Class February 11th at Great Scott

Quick poster I cranked out for this upcoming event, featuring Devilicia of Black Cat Burlesque, with Pigma brush pen and fluorescent paint (what could be more anti-art school than neon paint? maybe if I'd painted it on black velvet):

Basically people get to draw from burlesque performers in costume rather than regular models, plus there's alcohol.

I just saw there's a cool little photo gallery of the 1999 solo show I had at Philadelphia's Space 1026 here. It was a fun time. I think I had like 250 pieces up. Jeff Weisner and Space 1026 rule.

the Creep

Small illustration I did for Tom of http://www.standard-design.com's upcoming story, Broken Lines. The Creep is a creepy racist who angers The Spaceman and Maggie in an employee breakroom while they're trying to eat Twizzlers. I spent more time playing with using Photoshop grays than worrying about perspective.
